This study represents the second of three steps, joining the dangerous factors for the identification ofenvironmental risk areas to accidents involving transportation of dangerous goods. Thus integrating theparameters that directly influence the definition of an area which has weaknesses of the consequences ofchemical spill and spread of fire from accidents and can thus be in a help document in understanding andprevention of this type of claims. The database used was composed of three vectorial maps, corresponding tosoil permeability, drainage network density and land use and land cover; in the range of 1:50,000, theconversion is proceeding in a raster structure, thereby allowing integration into QGIS software. The resultsshowed that 50% of the analyzed area of 93,600 hectares is the level Susceptibility Average, 30% HighSusceptibility, 16% Low Susceptibility and 4% to the level of Very High Susceptibility. According to planimetriesmade this last class, its scope, basically restricted to the dimensions of the main rivers in the mid-southern partof the study area, where there is a higher slope to 20%. It was concluded that the main responsibility indetermining the partitioning of the area were the soil permeability parameters and expressions of the features ofland use and vegetation cover.
